Healing Chronic Pain + Symptoms

Chronic mental and physical pain and symptoms may be the manifestation of unconscious or conscious emotional, social and spiritual pain.  If you’d like to experience deep and sustainable healing, it is important to consider how mental, physical, emotional, social and spiritual health are all connected and vital for our optimal health and wellness.

You could experience chronic pain and symptoms due to:

  • Chronic painful emotions such as fear and rage circulating in your body.

  • Painful relationships and a lack of love and connection with others.

  • The absence of faith, hope or belief in a divine source of unconditional love.

Without realizing it, someone who is hardworking, conscientious and responsible with perfectionist and people pleasing tendencies could subconsciously be holding onto fear of failure, fear of disappointing others and resentment for not being appreciated.  This chronic pressure and tension and potential lack of healthy boundaries could be the root cause of debilitating symptoms.

Because of stored trauma and chronic stress, hormones can become out of balance.  A chronic state of stress can increase cortisol levels which can influence the balance of estrogen and progesterone and the production of other hormones.  Our microbiome can get out of balance and our digestive system and immune system can weaken.

You can experience deep and sustainable healing by:

  • Using techniques and tools to change your mindset, get rid of limiting beliefs and release repressed emotions.

  • Setting healthy boundaries and being intentional about practicing love and kindness toward yourself and others.

  • Taking time to meditate, pray, be still and connect with the divine source of love.

Also, functional medicine lab testing is helpful to determine your current state of physical imbalances, deficiencies and toxicities.  With this data, you can learn what specific dietary changes, supplements and protocols would be most supportive for your healing.

I hope this information is helpful to you along your health and wellness journey!
