Chocolate Chip Banana Cookies

These chocolate chip banana cookies are gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free and so yummy!  The recipe below is slightly adapted from Dr. Axe’s Edible Cookie Dough Recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana

  • ½ cup almond butter

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • ¼ cup coconut flour

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

  • ½ cup dark or semi-sweet mini chocolate chips

  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. Mix all contents in a large bowl.

  3. Scoop heaping teaspoons of dough and roll into small balls.

  4. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and flatten balls slightly.

  5. Bake for approximately 13 to 15 minutes or until cookies are a light golden brown.
