A Position To Thrive

I believe that we can flourish when we have the freedom and ability to put ourselves in a position to heal physically, mentally and emotionally.  When we skillfully replace deficiencies, proactively remove toxicities and lovingly restore balance, we can heal and thrive.

Many of the wild flower seeds along the edge of our yard didn’t grow very much this year, and most of those that did dried out.  Our lawn is brown and dry because we had so little rain this summer.  However, there is one small section in our backyard where a group of yellow daisies are growing strong and shining bright with their pretty yellow petals.

It seems like their seeds were placed in just the right spot for them.  They are along the edge of the grassy yard, right in front of the woods.  They got some sun, but not too much.  There is a small hill in the yard sloping down toward them.  Maybe when it did rain a few times this summer, the water collected in a little puddle around their roots.

If you are blessed to be in a position in your life to make choices for yourself, to choose what food you eat and what liquids you drink, when, how much and how often, you can nourish your body with what you need and avoid things that could be harmful to you.

If you are lucky enough to be able to move your body in some way, get your heart and lungs working, body sweating, muscles strengthening, happy hormones pumping, your body will naturally push out toxins and become stronger and more energized.

You are putting yourself in a position to heal, when you give yourself the rest you need, when you are open to releasing toxic emotions and to receiving divine love and healing.  When you do whatever you can to live a life in alignment with what you value most, you bring more balance and healing to your life.

Plant your roots in the soil that is right for you, stand tall and soak in the sunshine and rain. You are so loved and so important, just because you are you.  You have a purpose and mission in this life that will help make the world a better place.  Empower yourself today to take care of yourself and put yourself in a position to heal and thrive.
