Greens Challenge

Since St. Patrick’s Day and the first day of spring are both coming up this month, I thought it would be fun to do a Greens Challenge.  As the snow is melting and we are starting to see the green grass again here in New England, let’s make an effort to add some more green plant-based nourishment to our days.  


Some ideas for healthy green food that you can add throughout the day:

  • Fresh squeezed lime to your first glass of water.

  • Greens powder or spinach to your morning smoothie.

  • Avocado or cucumber to your salad.

  • Green beans or zucchini to your soup.

  • Broccoli or asparagus with your choice of healthy protein.
