Pumpkin + Cinnamon Smoothie

It is pumpkin and apple season here in New England!  It is time to have fun making healthy and delicious treats that include these famous fall ingredients.  This pumpkin smoothie was so thick and creamy that I actually enjoyed it with a spoon like a pumpkin pudding or soft serve ice cream.  

If you’d like it more liquidy, be sure to add more almond milk!  I thought it was so tasty as is, but you could add a little maple syrup to make it even sweeter.  If you try this recipe or something similar, please let me know!

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup frozen pumpkin purée 

  • ½ frozen banana

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (oat milk or coconut milk)

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon 

  • 1 scoop Truvani vanilla protein powder 

 Directions:

  • Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend.

  • Pour into a bowl or cup and enjoy!
