Simple Homemade Chicken Bone Broth Soup
Now that it is late fall and it is getting cooler outside, I love a nice warm bowl of soup. I don’t like to spend a lot of time cooking, so here’s a quick recipe for you to enjoy some nourishing goodness.
Bone broth can be good for your digestive health, your joints, skin, hair and nails. Like my green juice, I don’t drink bone broth as much as I’d like to, but every cup counts!
Directions:
Pour bone broth into a big pot.
Steam carrots in a separate pot until softened.
Sauté spinach for a few minutes in a pan with water.
Defrost chicken breasts and cut into small cubes or shred into pieces.
Pour steamed carrots, fully cooked chicken and sautéed spinach into the broth.
Sprinkle real salt and seasonings or dried herbs of choice into the broth.
Keep warm on low temperature until ready to serve.
Bon appétit!
